Our first wood-bat double header at Muzzy field ended with disappointment with getting the tie in the the first game and a loss in the second. In the first game we were cruising along until we had an injury to Kevin Gokey which hurt us the rest of the night. The Indians then tied it up. Some great plays and pitching by Chris Desjardins, Eric Michael, and Kyle Faust kept us in control most of the game. Highlights from the first game were the catch at short keeping us tied by Ferguson, 4 hits by Faust.

In the second game everyone including the umpires seemed to be a little fatigued as we ended up dropping the game to the Willimantic squad 3-2. Rex cone pitched well and smashed a few lasers. Few questionable calls went the Willimantic way. We look forward to our next matchup.
